Piñas Bay, the land of plenty
Fishing Highlights-Aug 17-31, 2013
The last few weeks of August the fishing has been picking up somewhat and we are certainly seeing more Marlin showing up offshore. The Blacks have been still slow to arrive to our coast and we are all not certain of the reason for this. Make no mistake about it, the offshore bite is still pretty good and the crews are putting our guests on lots of Sailfish and the Yellowfin Tuna action has been great.
Pat Ford-Tropic Star's Man with a Camera
Tropic Star Lodge is honored to pay tribute to journalist and photographer Pat Ford. Pat's photos have graced the covers of numerous major fishing publications; not to mention the major articles he's penned, along, with his own touch of photo journalism. You would think Pat never sleeps when you see how many incredible photos he takes. Pat especially loves to photograph our Tropic Star Lodge Majestic Black Marlin, which he's enjoyed for years.
