Maintenance Manager

Exclusive Sportfishing resort in a remote location of Panama seeks Maintenance Manager with strong supervisory and managerial skills.  Qualified candidates should have experience with diesel engines, generators, boat maintenance and repair,  power distribution (AC/DC electrical), air conditioning , refrigeration and water filtration systems.

Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and  self motivated and detailed oriented with good oral and written communication skills. Technical training , 3-5 years experience and computer skills are a plus. Salary is negotiable.

Responsibilities

Boats and Engines
Repair and maintenance of 16 diesel powered fiberglass Sportfishing boats (Bertram 31)

  • Diesel engine and transmission maintenance/overhaul
  • Outboard engines
  • General fiberglass repair and hull maintenance
  • Marine electronics installation and troubleshooting
  • Tool maintenance and repairs

Hotel
Repair and maintenance of all equipment at the resort including,

  • Generators
  • Building repairs
  • Kitchen and laundry appliances
  • Air conditioning and refrigeration
  • Plumbing
  • Water distribution and sewage systems
  • Grounds equipment
