The phenomenal fishing is not the only thing that we have for you. You can escape everyday life and relax in harmony with the unspoiled environment found all over the island.

We offer kayaks to enjoy the coast or go up the Piñas River and feel the wilderness all around you. A hike or boat ride brings the perfect solitude of our beautiful white beach with its pristine turquoise waters and rich coral banks ideal for snorkeling. There are jungle trails to be hiked up the mountainside and at the very top, the view is spectacular! A 3 hour hike from the lodge will take you to a breathtaking waterfall where you can swim in the midst of a tropic paradise. Or, maybe just hang out and relax with a massage.

Special arrangements can be made to visit a nearby Indian village where you can trade for hand woven baskets, wood and tagua carvings, beads and other Indian crafts.  

Traditional Indian Dances are normally performed during your visit.

And let's not forget, you can float your cares away in our fresh water swimming pool, or take some sun on the deck while being pampered by our friendly staff.  The pool bar provides a great opportunity unwind, fish stories are optional.

Whale watching has become a great visual experience at TSL.  July-September marks the peak season for their migration trek, with encounters increasing every season.

 Bird watching can be done from your own porch. A favorite is watching the weaver birds make their nests in the swaying palm trees. Tropical butterflies and bright colored hummingbirds can be seen off your own porch.
