Last week we welcomed the Brimhall family and their friends to Piñas Bay for a full week of offshore fishing. The Marlin bite was as good as can be expected both on the reef and out on the ledge. Catching live bait was difficult at times; the crews had to work extra hard at this week. Also, schools of Pacific Sailfish showed up and the last two days of fishing was nothing short of spectacular. Many big Dorado were also caught; some in the 70lb range and few hefty Yellowfin Tuna made it to the scale. The biggest weighed in at 184 lbs.
