After a week of absolute mayhem, every fisherman knows to watch out! It will be tuff to beat that 96 Marlin week, but nothing is impossible. The last couple of weeks has been a little slower, however the billfish are here and we are willing to eat. There are quite a few Black Marlin around this time, a lot more than last August; and they are really big. Many are upwards of 500 lbs. Yellowfin Tuna schools continue to patrol the ledge offshore and we’re also having a lot of fun with them. They are not giants (80-100 lb) but still put up a really tough scrap. There’s also been some great inshore fishing as well. The Roosterfish are around in good numbers .
