December continues to be great fishing and this season and surprise, surprise; there are great numbers of sails around mixed in with the Black and Blue Marlin. There are quite a few giants around, in the 500-600 lb range .Yellowfin Tunas continue to show up on the ledge and our guests really enjoyed playing tug-of-war with them. Most were in the 100 lb range and as one guest told me, “100 lbs plenty enough!” It is really amazing how hard these fish fight; pound for pound you’d be hard-pressed to find another pelagic in its class.
