Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper

The inshore bite continues to be good and our guests have been hauling in some really big Roosterfish and the odd Cubera Snapper. Some crews have been probing the 100 fathom curve in search of billfish but the bite continues to be slow. There are tons of bait offshore and we remain hopeful that the sailfish will arrive soon. A couple of Blue Marlin were released in the 300 lb range and we been getting into some schools of Yellowfin Tuna. Rick True released his first Pacific Blue Marlin estimated at 380 lbs. We’ll keep you posted on the billfishing as we enter the month of May as I suspect that the bite will turn on soon.. In the meantime enjoy the photos of some trophy fish caught over the last few weeks.
