Yvonne Buckley caught her 100th Marlin at the Tropic Star Lodge in Panama Tropic Star's very own stand-up tackle Marlin angler, Yvonne Buckley, along with her trainer, coach, photographer and husband, Richard Buckley, just reached a milestone achievement that would be envied by serious anglers anywhere in the world. One hundred marlin on stand up gear is no longer a lonely number when it comes to Yvonne and her tenacity for billfishing at TSL.

Fishing Highlights - April 7–28

The inshore bite continues to be good and our guests have been hauling in some really big Roosterfish and the odd Cubera Snapper. Some crews have been probing the 100 fathom curve in search of billfish but the bite continues to be slow. There are tons of bait offshore and we remain hopeful that the sailfish will arrive soon.
