The Action:
We had an excellent week of fishing this week -
14 marlin were released , 8 blacks and 6 blues, with 15 more raised.
We also caught 82 sails even though no one was really fishing for sails this week.
Most of the marlin was caught on live bait with a few lost on plastics and some more caught on dead baits.
With only 5 boats fishing a full week, 2 of which the clients decided to stay after seeing the great fishing and extended their stay from a half to a full week! All our boats released at least one marlin with some of the boats getting 4 for the week. Captain Walter, a rookie captain pulled up to the dock on two different days with 2 marlin flags and a few sailfish flags flying, both the France and the Island Star returned home with 2 marlin releases on one day!
