Great fishing with great people, what more can one ask for? This last week we hosted the Little One Tournament. We had 39 anglers - men, ladies, and kids.
This tournament has a great format where the whole family is involved.
A total of 172 sails and 1 striped marlin were released on the three tournament days.
Top team awards went to the Gulf Coast team with anglers Lawhorn, Moorer, Holcomb and Gard.
Three anglers each ended with 1200 points - Fitzpatrick, Holcomb and Gard.
Ron Gard released 3 sails on fly (his first) and 16 on conventional tackle.
Michael Thomas released 2 striped marlin and 12 sails.
Sandra Jacobson released 1 blue marlin and 5 sails.
Pat Gerard released one striped marlin and 6 sails.
Warren Merrill released a black marlin and 8 sails.
Katherine DiNapoli released a black marlin and 8 sails she also fought another black marlin for 4-hours and lost it near the boat.
John Sperry released a striped marlin and 9 sails.
First certificates went to Eric Jacobson, Craig Lednum, Elizabeth Molina, Denise Freitag and Kelsey Wilson.
