Our 2005 Season is filling up fast. Don't get left at the dock! Call Bonnie in Orlando for availability- 800-682-3424.
Managers
Hennie & Ursula Marais manage to keep you in fish stories.
March 19-29

Released 164 sailfish, 1 striped marlin and 1 black! Amazingly we had 18 clients releasing their first ever billfish!

The Action:

Peter, Sheila and Lauren Geraci fished the Miss Tropic Star. They released 11 sailfish, enjoyed the tuna fishing and gave up a day's fishing for a hike to the waterfall - the best place to taste a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

John and Bonnie Peveto, John and Alexandra Miller, Fully and Gloria Clingman and Wayne Wright fished the Costa Rica, Island Star, Panama and England. Together they released 101 sailfish including a first sailfish for Fully, Gloria Clingman and Bonnie Peveto who was out of fishing action on their last trip. Sheila Wright took advantage of the great hikes and hiked various trails during the week proving there is more to do than just fishing at Tropic Star Lodge.

Dr. Paris Royo brought a great group of friends and family totaling 21 guys and they fished 7 boats. They released 73 sailfish including 13 people releasing their first ever sailfish and two of them their first ever marlin! Only at Tropic Star Lodge.

Sailfish releases - Paris Roy, James Watters, Mohammad Jalili, Kevin Adams, Fred Naderi, Frazam Hariri, Eric Griesa, Barry Chehrazi, Seth Edelman, Jimmy Wright, Majid Rahimiam, Javad Rahimian and Abdul Allen Mozayeni.

First black marlin for Mansour Aliabadi and striped marlin for Mohammad Mortazari. The group also caught great tuna, roosterfish and dorado. Well done guys, hope to see you all back soon. Special thanks to Dr. Royo.

The first rain of the season has been falling, about 4 to 6 weeks earlier than normal, we have sardines just south of Jaque so it looks like we will have a earlier and hopefully longer sailfish season. I’m convinced that there are still numerous marlin to be caught. We will be away for two weeks to Florida on a short Vacation and be back the 15th of April.

Tight Lines,
Hennie and Ursula Marais
