More Marlin first’s for our angler’s-
Bill Rice and Willie Toppino could not have been happier after there fishing trip. Willie crossed off another fish on his most wanted list. Willie caught his first Blue Marlin and Bill his largest Blue Marlin to date. Willie had some great action with Dorado of up to 50lbs while Bill had fun with a couple of sailfish.
David Cummings brought his friend Bill Hunter on his first big game fishing experience. Bill is now hooked for life. Bill caught his first Blue Marlin, his first Sailfish and his first Yellow fin Tuna, a monster of about 200lbs, while David had some sailfish action and got to see a friend having the time of his life.
This time around, Jason Jacobs brought Jenna Specht with him instead of his usual fishing buddies. She had an absolute blast and caught her first Sailfish, first Dorado- a giant of 60lbs and her first Yellowfin Tuna. Jason has found a new fishing buddy, the other guys better watch out.
Dr. John Waldrop and his son Mulford snuck in 1 last visit before the end of the season. Fishing with their favorite Captain, Gustavo, they had a most enjoyable 4 days. Mulford caught a Blue Marlin on their 3rd day out and then on the last day they were joined by their pilot and both he and Dr. Waldrop caught a Blue Marlin while Mulford went out on his own boat and had some good sailfish action.
Nancy and Dickie Dunaway have witnessed their friends joy of catching billfish and decided it’s time to do it for themselves. They now have had the same joy and excitement. Nancy catching a double first with her first Blue Marlin and first Sailfish while Dickey caught his first Sailfish. They also had plenty of hot action with large dorado.
Kenny and Alison Small had a awesome time with Captain Maso on the Spain. Though they were teased by marlin on their first 2 days, Kenny was not to be denied his marlin and caught a huge Black Marlin of 600lbs for his first. They had fun with Sailfish, Dorado and Tuna to keep them occupied in between the marlin strikes.
Larry Barr of Florida was joined by his friends from the Bahamas Nicolas Mosko, Ted Russell, Mark Thompson and Desmond DeGregory for a bit of Pacific ocean fishing. Nicolas Mosko and Mark Thompson both caught their first Black Marlin on the same day and missed another 2 while fishing with Larry. Meanwhile Ted caught his first Pacific Sailfish and Desmond a monster Dorado of about 50lbs.
Rick Chaponot and Mike Trombly were joined by Jody Bright for 3 days of their fishing. Jody got some amazing film footage of Rick’s Blue Marlin while Mike caught a Black Marlin. Mike went on to catch one more Blue Marlin later in the week, bringing their total to 3 Marlin for the week. A great week was had by them.
