With the Marlin bite still going on, many of our guests reached personal milestones.

Yvonne Buckley was once again fishing Captain Alberto, who received an award for the most Black Marlin tagged in the Pacific Ocean in 2007. This time the team was doing all the right moves. Yvonne caught 1 Black Marlin and 1 Blue Marlin to bring her total catch to 60 Marlin caught on stand up tackle. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement.

James Agonis and Joseph Farren had a week that they will still be bragging about for many years to come. Joseph was the first out of the starting blocks with his first Blue Marlin. James followed him the next day and went one better and caught both his first Black and Blue Marlin. Joseph then caught his first Black Marlin and added a Sailfish to his tally for his GRAND SLAM for the week. If that was not enough, they caught a giant Yellow fin tuna of 219lbs and a Rooster fish of 60lbs.

Roberto Ucelay was just as excited about his week while fishing with his friends Pedro Bonny, Luis Cabre, Pablo Correa and Anthony Lopez. Roberto caught his first Black Marlin and his first Pacific Sailfish which together with a Blue Marlin made up his GRAND SLAM for the week. Pablo Correa was hot on his heels with his first Blue Marlin and first Pacific Sailfish. They finished off the week with 2 Black Marlin and 3 Blue Marlin.

Jack Callahan and Kimberly Burke both caught their first Black Marlin while fishing with their spouses Rebecca and Gerard on the Puerto Rico. Gerard could not be out done and caught up with his first Blue Marlin 2 days later. They also enjoyed some Sailfish and Dorado action.

Lance Morgan and Richard Williamson had great time fishing while their wives enjoyed the time relaxing at the lodge. Richard caught his first Black Marlin together with his first Black Marlin on his last day of fishing. Talk about leaving to the wire.

Kristine and Scott Karl were having just as much fun on the Island Star with Captain Gavilan. Scott caught his first Black Marlin and then Kristin following with her first Black Marlin while Scott caught his first Striped Marlin.

Antonio Rodriguez was joined by his fishing buddies in the joys of catching their first Black Marlin. They were Jose Manuel Perez Del Toro and Jose Antonio Sanchez Garcia, who also caught his first Pacific Sailfish. Manuel Ramirez, Javier Astelarra and Antonio Mesa were with them to help swell their fish numbers to an amazing 6 Black Marlin, 5 Blue Marlin and 6 Pacific Sailfish.

Ray Croncher and Wayne Sandlin fishing with Captain Walter and Clifford and Phyllis Wiita fishing with Captain Gustavo had a great week and caught 2 Blue Marlin and 10 Pacific Sailfish.
