Carol Schorr Brings Another Mighty Black to the Leader

TSL’s fishing this season was incredible, and consistent throughout the year! No wonder our clients have discovered Tropic Star Lodge is the most reliable fishing destination in the world! More and more anglers are returning to the Lodge several times each season, because they know they can depend on us for the “ultimate experience!”

We would like to take this opportunity to formally welcome Bonnie Karp to our TSL “family.” She heads up our reservation office in Orlando and is doing a great job. A word of thanks for the positive feedback we’ve received on our questionnaires! We always strive to make Tropic Star the best it can be. From our friendly staff to our boats and tackle, enhancing your Tropic Star Experience remains our focus. Fishing upgrades for next season include live bait well combos with six tuna tubes on all our 31’ Bertrams. Footrests and rocket launchers are being fitted to our fighting chairs, along with all new Garmin electronics – the best is getting better!

More happy news: There have been some additions to the Tropic Star family! Our wonderful managers, Ursula and Hennie, became the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl on January 6. Gabriella Marais was born in Panama City (another Marlin season baby!) Thanks to the generosity of so many guests, Gabriella is the “best–dressed baby” in Central America! More baby news: our longtime friend and associate, Marcos Ostrander, President of our Conamar Foundation, and his wife Irene are the proud grandparents of quadruplets – 3 boys and a girl! They were born in Panama and are all beautiful and healthy.
